modified bedroom sets, and nursery sets.

Decided that i wanted to have a go at modifying and decorating dolls house sets, ive tried a few and have sold some on ebay, and did exeptionally well, infact nearly fell off my chair when i saw how much they went for. some are on ebay at present so we shall see what they go for

A new and long awaited post with new goodies to go with it!

Thought it was about time i updated my neglected blog ha.
Well today i went to Pudsey dolls house fair today and bought some new goodies.

• I bought plenty of jars for Snapes classroom,
• some sweeties and weighing scales for Honeydukes
• Some cotton wool balls, toiletries and a rug( these are for my mini makes that i will be selling, more on that later).
• Some potions for The Witching hour
•  A pestle and Mortor for snapes classroom
• And the most lovely witch courtsey of Toni from small sorts that will take residence in honeydukes i think.

HoneyDukes update!

well its being a while since i last posted, but here is an update on Honeydukes.
Ive done a basecoat on the exterior, i want to brick it but looking at different options..
The windows and doors are dark green, and on the windowsill are some lollypops, and the No Melt Ice cream stand, and Bearties every flavoured beans. Not sure if these will stay where they are but for now they look good for the purpose lol

1 12th scale Hagrid

Eeek! my hagrid doll i love him... hes a true giant about 7.5inches... so hes perfect.. i was going to make his hut but im not sure now, however in due course i will be making the Great Hall of Hogwarts so he may just go in there :)

Sugar Quills, advanced potion making book and the book of monsters book from Harry potter!

The advanced Potion making book is for another project, to which i hope to have some decent progress on it at some point soon. But here are my sugar quills that i bought on etsy, arnt they fabulus :)

 

 

 

 I also got the book of monsters, both books are readable and are fantastic. i love them although this book i feel is a little out of scale but i suppose you can get away with it, with it being harry potter and all magical etc.

 

Honeydukes gets a splash of paint and new flooring!

Hey finially have some pictures of Honeydukes for you, theres been a little more progress since these pics have been taken but wanted to show you these first. The building is the Regency Shop kit, from Side Cooke

The windows and door are painted a dark green, but they look like they are black lol.. dont mind the doodles on the floor thaat is just a reminder of where i want things to go when i was planing it lol.

Outside of honeydukes. Still needs bits adding tha it came with though.

 

The inside-

 The inside has peppermint green skirting and the same for the coving once in place andit has marshmellow pink walls :)  and black and white tiled floor

 

eek! been a naughty girl!

well as the title suggest ive been very naughty. Ive been spending way too much money on mini's this month but im excited to recieve them.

Ive also ordered some bits and bobs to help make some of my own sweeties and things for my projects, i just wish this stupid snow would disappear lol.

forum!

Ive decided to come off the forum for a little while, things just havnt been the same as they used to be. I miss the older forum members and how fun and exciting it used to be. Events over the last few days have upset me, and things have been said that shouldnt have. everyone just seams to be doing it to each other. Dont get me wrong i love most people on their old and new but things havnt seemed right for a while. I joined so that i can chat about my hobby with others that are interested and show progress pictures and ask for help and i thought we was one happy family. seems a few others are saying the same things too. maybe a break is what i need.

 

 

 

Chocolate Frogs, Acid Pops, and licorice allsorts!!

well here are some sweets for Honeydukes, ive been working on.. the chocolate frogs are actually just green frogs dipped in chocolate coloured paint :) think they have turned out great, the acid pops still need to be finished but nearly there..

ok, so yes this is my current and recent project. Im another one of those mad harry potter fans. i love it! and i love the idea of having my own honey dukes.
i decided to brainstoorm ideas, and what sort of things to put in it/ Most of the sweets im hoping to make myself :)
